(SSISCOMP, 3 days)

This SETC certified course covers the full range of SSIS concepts from the basics of data sources to advanced data flows and control flows. The course begins with a tour of the BIDS (Business Intelligence Development Studio) environment and its many windows, dialog boxes and features, From there, the student is taken through a comprehensive investigation of basic tasks such as importing data from delimited and positional files, exporting data to external data sources and implementing simple error conditions. Having mastered the basics, the course proceeds to study the intricacies of complex data transformation tasks which require transformations, NULL value handling and encoding changes.
